One of the best book I read ...

I would like to first thank God for Dave Roberson. I have read so many books but yet still never found the solution to living a life of holiness and power. Most of these books just increased my knowledge of the word but I still lack the power to overcome the hidden deeds of the flesh. (I felt like all it did was give me head knowledge). Years of struggling and having challenges over certain areas of my life kept me depressed and feeling self condemned to a point where I started giving up. I tried everything, I mean everything. I had people tell me just keep going to church, keep reading the word, but yet still lacked the POWER to overcome the dictates of the flesh. I have read the book TWICE and it changed my life since ... I had receive the gift of the Holy Spirit years ago and had prayed before in tongues but never knews its importance and purpose. I been consistenly praying in tongues and I have been reaping the benefits. Ive prayed for people and they've received their healing from the Lord. I also have been delivered from that addiction of the flesh which had a strong hold on me for years. I feel a greater peace on the inside ever since and can feel the Holy Spirit purging those things in me that is contrary to the will of God. From the beginning to end, the book has given me the answers to my problems, also giving me such a greater understanding of the ministry of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and how the Holy Spirit operates within them through speaking in tongues. I come to realize how important the person of the Holy Spirit is in our lives. There are many things we really dont know what to pray for in our own understanding when dealing with our weakness. But the Holy Spirit does the searching within us as He intercedes for us removing anything contrary to the Will of God. He then replaces it with His power to mortify and overcome the deeds of the flesh. It is only THROUGH the SPIRIT we mortify the DEEDs of the flesh. All along Ive been battling these habits of the flesh using my own strength while now Ive learn through this book how to release the Holy Spirit on the inside through praying in our heavenly language to perfect all those things which concerns me. Amazing book!! It also mentions the importance of mediating on God's word and praying in tongues. We must apply both in order to walk in the Spirit and in Power. I gave this book to three of my friends and they agree and testify that this book is practical to where they have been experiencing amazing results. Excellent book and anointed!! I recommend to everyone! This book deals on a personal level with your walk with God. It's all about what I can do to reach and experience the fulness of God and what to do when dealing with the hindrances of my life. There is so many more things I wish I could say but it would be too long to write ..lol.. I pray this inspired you to get this book ... Much Grace in HIM!

I recommend this book if you are serious about wanting a closer/deeper relationship with the Godhead. The theology presented lines up with the Scriptures. This is the best book I've encountered which explains the differences in praying in tongues for personal edification vs. the gift of tongues, etc. I have read this book numerous times, gleaning additional insight with each reading. The gift of our prayer language is misunderstood. Most Christians do not realize the importance of utilizing what God has so freely given to those who ASK. Simply written, it is the truth of God's Word unveiled for those who will believe God's Word inspite of man's teaching.

David Jaffee received his B.A. from University of Florida and his M.A. from Washington University in St.Louis, both in Political Science. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Jaffee has published articles on a variety of topics including international development, gender inequality, industrial location, organization theory, and instructional technology. He is the author of Levels of Socio-Economic Development Theory (Praeger, 1998). He is currently an associate professor of sociology at the University of North Florida.

Cervantes "Other" Famous Novel

It can be a curse for an author to have a magnus opus because it can overshadow their other great works. As you hear Cervantes' name, pictures of knights errant, comical squires, and "giant" windmills instantly pop into your mind (you just can't help it!). The Exemplary Novels of Cervantes is a collection of short stories or novellas that impart some kind of moral lesson. If you have read Don Quixote and liked it, I would highly suggest you read this book. If you haven't but are interested in the daily happenings in 16th century Spain, you should also read it.

About the Author

Great Resource for Caring Educators and Researchers alike

An excellent compilation of positive psych possibilities, including why and how to implement a wide variety of options that should make an immediate impact in student well-being. As a positive psychology fan and PhD student half a country away, I appreciate the time and effort Dr. O'Grady spent in crafting this timely guide! Now, if we can also inspire educators to overcome the parasitic drag of 'No Child Left Behind' standards/assessments to concentrate not only on true opportunities for differentiated learning, but on that which we so fundamentally care about, the well-being of our children. Dr. O'Grady, on behalf of my three children who WILL experience positive psychology in the classroom, thank you for your excellent work!

A must have for anyone who supports elementary school learners!!!

After spending my entire professional career supporting classrooms in some capacity, this book skillfully outlines the major shifts that need to take place so that our elementary classrooms focus on the whole child. It clearly delineates the research literature behind the approach and provides practical examples for teachers and administrators. The content is so refreshing and right on target. Parents, teachers and administrators will greatly benefit from the concepts and ideas and when applied will create awesome learning environments for our students.

From the opening line I was hooked ! I have over 35 years experience in the field of human services including psychology, adult education, developmental disabilities, and k-12 special education. Through insightfully crafted metaphors, Dr O 'Grady easily draws the reader in while simultaneously stirring both insights and new ideas. I wanted to post this initial review and get back to my reading ... I will continue to update my review with examples of content but, for now, you 're best advised to get your own while I thoroughly engage! Dr G

book hangover alert

Let me tell you how much I love books about Motorcycle clubs. I LOOOOOVE Them. And this book was no exception. Add to that the hot steamy romance and drama and BAM!!! You've given me a book hangover. So you have to remember that this is book 2 in the series, Wilde Ride is book one. Wilde Ride give you the background for this book. You may want to look into that before reading this book. I recommend both. Okay...now onto the book. I love the chemistry that Jack (aka Diesel) and Payton share. She is such a wild child. Holds nothing back, tells you whats on her mind, and does what she wants. wham bam thank you man..and moves on. And he's such a badass. The muscles, the Harley, knows how to talk dirty.... then they run into one another and BAM!!! If you know their history, you have to question if they can make it work. Can she give him another chance, while he's working, and she working, and she's also pretending to be in a relationship to make him jealous? There were so many times when I was like OH YES, she has GOT to make this work. but then she starts pushing him away. Then after we learn of what he went through..I'm like LOVE HIM PAYTON! Then when we learn about what she went through, and why she has nightmares... I was all.. JACK YOU GO GET THEM BOYS!! And... That scumbag... with her sister!!! Oh that's not all the drama, don't worry.. Then add in how it ALL ties together and you get some major OMG moments. Man Jack is hot! Had to throw that out there.... Not only do we have all that drama, we also meet his family. SURPRISE PAYTON! And oh heavens.. I have no comment. Let me just say I highly recommend this book and this you should read it... AFTER you read Wilde Ride, of course

What a Sweet Ride... yes it was! It's one drama packed-action adventure-smexy romance. You'll be taken on one heck of a wild ride with Jack & Payton's story.

We met both Jack & Payton in Wilde Ride- Jack lied about who is really was and Payton doesn't or (maybe she does) want to forgive him. After not seeing Jack for 2 years he show's up back in town. Payton wants to get rid of Jack so she asks a former one-night-stand to become her fake boyfriend. What she gets is unexpected trouble that brings Jack the sexy cop back into her life. Oh... let the fun and adventure begin. This story is hot hot hot.

Payton the ultimate wild child want's Jack but a traumatic experience has broken her spirit. She wants love and happiness but doesn't thinks she's worth it and thinks Jack could never love someone like her! Payton punishes herself by partying hard and sleeping around. At first I didn't care all that much for her character but as I got to know her better in the book you see just how damage and hurt she really is. Jack is one sexy cop/motorcycle riding, Italian bad boy and I just love him. Without going into detail I'll just say Jack is a real stand up guy. Yup he sure is!

Oh and I loved the Edward panties scene!!! Didn't know there was such a thing available for purchase. LOL

This book is written well and the story is sizzling hot! There's a few OMG moments and a couple of surprises. Lots' of sexy sex and a romance that will knock your soaks off and I can't wait for Evan & Cades book.

Good reference

Bought this book for a a 3 day trip to London and it's a great size that will fit easily into my bag, while appearing to be a decent enough architecture guide for a short visit. Good visuals and just enough information for interesting viewing.
